We, well I *ahem* are considering the [Schlüter Quadec]. I just couldn't imagine how it looks with that stupid edge.

Yes, construction has started, the screed is coming next week. It's slowly getting time for the tiler.

As an alternative, a rail will be placed as a finish on the top row of tiles (where with it was only painted or sealed with silicone). In the end, it's just a matter of taste whether to use a rail or have it integrated.

Only painted by me. For you, the stainless steel or other profile would only be a short piece if the tub is then tiled flush with the wall at the bottom.

Normally you put acrylic or silicone in there. Acrylic can then be painted over. Yes, or another track, as wrote. But that might be a bit too much bling bling. Like I said, a matter of taste.

Addendum: Solid-colored tiles could also just be left as they are.

That's what I meant by this:

There was once a rather exaggerated version of profile application here in the forum (profile for profile, I always say ;) )
