I tiled the entire basement floor as a beginner back then, without YouTube etc., it just takes time, you have to get informed or you need suitable tools anyway. The tip about laying out the tiles beforehand is, in my opinion, good.
The tools are not the problem. Laying them out beforehand makes sense, but the real crux is where to best start. Ideally, I would start at the front where the transition to the other tiles is, so you can best adjust the level. If I start at the back, then there would probably be a discrepancy at the front. With a leveling system, I have to lay all tiles at once. Without a leveling system, you could split it over a few days and work little by little from front to back. I would just like to know how a professional tiler would approach this.
Please stick to topics you (somewhat) know about, instead of recommending tiles that are almost bigger than the room. Even the 60x30 are not suitable for this room. Recommendation: 40 x 40 and lay diagonally.
Currently there are 30x30 tiles and I don't find them very nice. I wouldn't like diagonal either.
