Plug, clean, reinforce, bond with Ardex X90 and grout with epoxy. Then it should fit :)

Hi Tommi,

thank you for your tip. I would be very happy if it works out. However, I didn't quite understand what you are suggesting.
Sorry, but could you please break it down for me again? That would be incredibly helpful since I am unfortunately not an expert.

What exactly should be plugged in? How many times? Is there anything to consider regarding the plugs?
Cleaning with a Kärcher?
What kind of reinforcement?

Thanks for your effort and sorry for the inconvenience!

Hello Karsten, "The doweling of the current facade is only necessary because you want to apply another coating. More weight... The specifications can be found with the manufacturer of the dowels used. There are indications like how many dowels per m², etc. Then clean the surface using a Kärcher. And to create a reasonably even surface/contact layer, I would embed/reinforce a fabric there. Good luck :)"

I would have said the same. Basically like when you double the insulation during renovations. Drill and apply a new reinforcing layer. Ask the manufacturer of the plaster system what they would apply as the next layer.
