TIDAFORS 3-seater sofa - quality questions

Hello everyone,

my partner and I have decided to go for the 3-seater sofa "Tidafors." It has been ordered for now. After placing the order, I couldn’t resist doing a little research online about the quality of this upholstered bench. In the Ikea store, it’s actually not possible to check all the criteria, especially when it comes to quality.

The thing is, those who have no complaints don’t speak up. Nonetheless, there are reviews that attest to the sofa having poor quality. The seating comfort is said to noticeably decrease after one year, as the cushion no longer returns to its original shape (it has a so-called memory foam as padding).

What has your experience with this sofa been like?

Apart from a review, I have found little about it. At least Ikea offers a 10-year warranty ([Bedingungen beachten!]). In my opinion, the condition in the showroom often allows conclusions to be drawn about the quality of the furniture, as the display units are often heavily used (unless they have just been newly set up).
