Thermostat valves: meaningful?

We are wondering if it also makes sense to have a faucet with a thermostat on the bathtub? That way you can, for example, set it to 38°C once and the temperature is always optimal, and you don't have to juggle with hot and cold water.

if little child, then yes. we don't have it, and it's just annoying.

Not everyone has a rain shower head as standard. That would be something I wouldn't install, for example, in a rental apartment.

Definitely. We bathe and occasionally need a different temperature for the hair.
However, it seems that the memory effect in the mind works everywhere: at 6 it’s pleasant, at 6:30 nicely hot. Hair is best at 5:30. 40, 38 and 36 degrees. Do you really need the thermostat for that?!?
