I believe it is normal that not everything always goes smoothly on a construction site, but in our case, I have to say, things are really going badly.

Our WC drain pipe on the upper floor was not fully connected.

We have an unfinished light well and my husband said shortly after we moved into our not yet completed house that apparently larger animals leave their droppings in the light well. I have to add that currently only our little son uses the WC.

Well, the droppings increased and by chance my husband was standing at the light well when a gush of water came out of an empty pipe towards him.

Great, right? The end of the story – the wall in the office, which is located in the basement, has to be broken open and a pipe needs to be laid.

We are quite pissed off... new house and having to break it open again.

How can someone just forget something like that?!

You, I have neighbors here who completely forgot their entire sewage connection! Until the muck was standing in the front yard. The sewage connection was to be provided by the builder (prefabricated house on a raised base plate) and the builders didn’t think about it ...

Occurs more often than one might believe. Our neighbors also had similar problems.

And that wasn’t noticed when setting it up? - where did the mess go then, backflow of the solid components in the pipe and seeping of the water at the pipe end onto the base plate?
