The temperature in the rooms does not meet our needs

We have underfloor heating where a hydraulic balancing has been carried out. However, we do not want the same temperature in every room, or the temperatures achieved in the individual rooms do not correspond to our needs. What options do we have? It is said that the room thermostats/actuators should ideally not be used but should remain fully open. Can I simply change the flow rates at the heating circuit distributor until we are satisfied with the temperature?

How is it supposed to be possible to set an individual room temperature if all thermostats are turned up fully and regulation is only done via the flow temperature?

Individual settings in new buildings are relatively speaking anyway. But in principle, it runs via the hydraulic balancing (the amount of warm water determines the temperature) and the outdoor temperature-controlled flow temperature. So, just as it works with all well-planned and well-built heat pumps. I would first talk to the person who calculated and adjusted the hydraulic balancing for you. Did you also specify the desired temperatures during the calculation/design? And now specifically about the problem. What are the ACTUAL and DESIRED temperatures in which rooms?

I have been reading that for 10 years. We manage well with these devices, they are individually set for the bathroom (normal), bedroom (cool), and living area (warm), and it works that way. About two to three times a year, the needs change (difference 0 degrees/8 degrees/-8 degrees), then adjustments are made based on experience and that’s that.

The balancing was done during construction. We only recently took over the house from the previous owner. Unfortunately, no documentation about the heating was created or it has been lost. Accordingly, the spacing and pipe lengths are unknown.

Regarding the temperatures. In both bathrooms the temperatures are between 22-23 degrees. Since we actually only use one, 19-20 in the second one would be sufficient. The bedroom (18 degrees) and utility room just under 19 are personally too cold for us and we would like 20.

And what about all the other rooms? Because if you increase the flow a bit in the bedroom, it could be that the living room or wherever else becomes slightly cooler. I would play with the flow rates very slightly. These are not exotic wishes or deviations you have there now.

At first glance, however, it sounds like a perfectly adjusted heating system, as one usually (except you guys now) would want. Nice and warm in the bathroom and not so warm in the utility room (why should it be one degree warmer there? Is there a sofa or do you spend a lot of time there?) and in the bedroom. Those are actually the wishes that come up here in the forum. Definitely not too warm in the bedroom!
