What’s the problem then?
Hole too small, or something underneath so that the hoses get caught?
With pull-out shower head or without?

So just enlarge the hole!

It gets caught on the metal things. It is even a bit frayed from pressing.

By metal things, do you mean the end pieces of the flexible hoses?
Are they possibly also screwed on?
So unscrew one and then try to reattach it from below?

In the picture, the hole looks big enough. I also don’t understand why the hoses are being squeezed? Have you ever looked at the sink from below to see if there is anything in the way, for example, if the countertop was not cut out large enough?
