Hello everyone,
the district office requires us to submit an open space design plan.
Our architect is not able to create one, he is not familiar with growth classes of trees, etc. Now I have received an offer from a landscape architect for €630. Is this price justified? He would receive the .dwg or dxf file of the submission planning from us.
How have you handled this?

Regards

Firstly, it is outrageous to demand something like that. Nobody does that here. If it were demanded, I would go to the gardener and ask him to paint in a few bushes, with the consideration of later buying plants from him as well. He is hardly more expensive than OBI anyway. Karsten

We also find that impertinent. I have already inquired with a landscaping gardener. They are not allowed to make such a plan, I will now inquire again with the largest landscaping gardener in the area to see if they can create such a plan. The annoying thing is that we will not get a building permit without this plan.

What (formal) requirements does the district office impose on the open space design plan? Perhaps it can be created independently.

In our case, the existing tree stock was already marked on the site plan, which the surveyor had created in advance. A plan of the future design is not required for us.

Whether 630 euros for the creation is justified depends on ... It initially sounds like a reasonable scale.

The district office refers to the development plan where it states, I quote: "For construction projects on private property areas, open space design plans must be attached to the documents for the building permit procedure or for the approval in the exemption procedure." I have ArchCAD as a demo version here. I'll try my luck, or I'll paint some little trees in with paint. [emoji2] How am I supposed to know now where I want to plant such a goddamn tree? I'll plant a sequoia in there, wait stop that can't be done, it's not native.... grml

They didn’t hear the shot.... Two apple trees, a couple of roses, lawn, a stone edge with some lavender. Done.
