hello!
we bought a semi-detached house 6 years ago. with a water-water heat pump. until now we have been very satisfied with its heating performance and the costs of the energy supplier.
that our heating system has now given up the ghost is bad. we have not yet been able to determine the exact cause 100%. the experts' only suspicion is that we have such heavy silting in the groundwater, that the filter in front of the heat pump was not cleaned often enough and that the materials used 6 years ago were simply too weak for the impact of fine sand that just passes through. the heat pump, which we have now jointly decided on with the neighbor, is equipped with stainless steel and we are having our groundwater checked for changes AND we will clean the filter more often regardless of the maintenance contract. despite all this trouble, I am convinced of this heating system. over the year it is inexpensive (for 140 m² about 400 euros per year heating costs) and it is more environmentally friendly. of course I cannot say now from which energy source my electricity comes, but ...... only sometimes smoke comes out of my chimney when I heat with the Danish stove.
and even if you hand over your house to a foundation, you have a great heating system for the next 30 years and you have also done something good for the environment.
best regards mark

Hello everyone, With heat pumps, regardless of which medium transfers the heat, it is very important to have the device regularly adjusted by a professional; I also generally recommend having an inspection carried out in advance by a heating engineer so that the performance coefficient is optimized (although an air-to-water heat pump can hardly achieve the optimal annual performance factor of 4). Air heat pumps generally have a low efficiency at very low outdoor temperatures. Optimized settings won't help much here; in this case, the flow temperature needs to be increased – Wali has experienced this effect. I advise Wali to conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis in combination with a heating assessment by an engineer.
