I would now claim that a built-in wall with tiles is more expensive than a glass partition. At least that was the case for us, and we decided on the glass pane for the following reason: significantly more light comes into the shower. With a built-in one, it can possibly become considerably darker in the shower area (unless you install a light source just for this area again).

In both our showers, two walls each are built/made of tiles. Two are made of glass.

I personally also like the brightness in the showers.

But also the fully built wall variant, as I know it from friends and neighbors, is nice.

Does the cost really differ that much?
I think: No, especially if you invest in very high-quality shower walls, these are likely to be more expensive.

Best regards

We have shower niches and need only one glass door each (1m wide). And each costs 800€... I unfortunately cannot judge if that is okay?

You get it cheaper, but you also get it a bit more expensive - but it is already a higher price range.

Regardless of the fact that one cannot say anything about the quality now...

Without a specific product and without knowing whether delivery+assembly is included or not, in my opinion no one can judge.

If it is sufficiently thick safety glass, high-quality fittings, including installation, with sealing lip etc etc I would find the price acceptable.
