Hoffmann dies last, I always say that too. But I deal with tenders professionally and know that Excel spreadsheets are THE tool of the preDECISIONmakers. In terms of year of birth, I am a 'Strichacht'. I am not an architect, but, after interesting detours, a construction pilot. Thanks to my 11ant-memory, I remember well what I have once read. There is here, especially in the form of the financing threads, a whole section in which I have hardly read any of the threads – otherwise almost all since I have been here, going back about a year at that time.
Well, I had to google 'Strichacht'. But hey, now I also have an image of the author. Looks cozy in the climbing net.
Anyway, the construction pilot side is interesting and at first glance worth reading.
What does that have to do with the construction method?
More with the providers who give you these booklets where everything that is included is listed.
Well, I can probably find somewhere here in the forum what needs to be included in a construction service description? Do you also write those yourself when planning with such prefabricated house companies?

Will that get expensive? Or will I end up at the same cost?
I just wanted to organize as little as possible myself. That’s why the direction is prefabricated house.
So far, several have assured me that exactly that works, i.e. a prefabricated house in the infill plot. I mean, sure, building is not as exact as metal construction, but they get it right down to a centimeter, don’t they?
So the neighboring houses are solid construction. The corner house two to the left is a timber prefabricated house.
If an infill middle house isn’t a demanding project, then enlighten me!
An architect plans, does detailed planning, calls for tenders, and manages construction. The client then commissions the bidder(s) proposed by the architect based on the result of the tender for the execution.
That was a question. Since so many said it is possible, I assumed, no.
Many parameters are at least fixed and therefore no longer unknowns that would allow even more options.
If I now contact an architect, is it like with a lawyer who basically gets paid right away when he opens the door for you unless you are insured? Or is there also first an informal meeting?
