So.. for us, the paving is now almost finished. The terrace is with the paving practically at the level of the rolling layer of the lift-and-slide door (in the meantime, the row of granite has also been replaced with brick)

The area has never been wet, as it is well covered by about 2 meters and not on the weather side (East completely protected and West accordingly 8 m away from the open side) - I’m not too worried about that (although, of course, that is probably not according to DIN)
At the corner of the house, however, it is already exposed to rain - but no openings to the inside there - just paving at a rather high level.
At the utility room it is like this:

... that should be at least 15 cm.
What I am somewhat concerned about, however, is the front door - although we have an 80 cm roof overhang there and in addition a 1.3 m deep canopy, the stones there are already wet when it rains (and is windy).
On the other hand, all front doors seem to be designed like that, right? I don’t remember ever seeing a gutter in front of a front door or a 15 cm step - or am I mistaken?

We have a single-step platform in front of the front door. All our neighbors here also have a platform.

But no sealing at all between the podium and the front door? More or less, that's the case with us too.

You have to seal it towards the masonry.

According to DIN, you need a gutter even at the landing, since the top edge then represents the landing.

But we don't have that either...

No, just a flush-to-the-floor doormat with a drain.

A month ago, I planned to build a wooden terrace in my garden. For this, I needed an aluminum terrace roof, the area (approx. 4mx5m). Otherwise, I thought it would be a good idea to spend every weekend on a terrace. I was looking for the appropriate company that could supply me with all the materials. I found a company where I purchased all the useful products. #hier stand einmal ein link; Bauexperte also assembled the desired terrace for me. The working time was short, which made a good impression on me.
