Terrace and driveway

So I definitely wouldn’t have chosen an "anthracite/gray" paving with a "yellow/red/sand" colored clinker. Simply because of this extreme contrast.

BUT!: It actually has to please you. The only way is to think it over and if necessary, actually lay out both variants on a meter.

Because of the contrast, I find the separation with a row of stones better.

Pavement color looks good - it picks up the roof again. We like some elements very much so far! Others are probably still a bit of an acquired taste. When it's finished, I'll take a few more photos.

I like the bricks. I also prefer the darker stones, not the red ones. The [grantieinfassung] also looks good, but I would have left it out directly on the house.

Granite edging at the house is now also gone - but the transition feels a bit sharp. Let’s see how it looks with planting.

What are you doing with the 10 meters of granite now? Is the width of the granite the same as the brick or how did you manage it? It certainly wasn't easy to replace. Do you have a picture of the "sharp transition"? (From where to where? House wall-paving area?) Ideally with the stepping surface facing inward (floor-to-ceiling window)

Currently on the way. I’ll gladly post it later. Yes, fortunately, it is the same format as the bricks - replacement was accordingly simple. I would think that the garden landscaper will take the leftovers along again.
