Hello everyone,
we will be building deep inland and still need to cover about 25m through the garden to the construction site. I want to properly pave the 25m only after completing the construction work because I’m afraid that the heavy construction machines will damage the new pavement.

How can I reinforce the garden in a cost-effective way so that the excavator and truck (I’m building a timber frame without a basement – so only excavation for the floor slab) do not sink into the ground, and I don’t go broke doing it?

Regards
Bodo

Hello Bodo I would suggest using Greder material firstly because it can be compacted very well and secondly it also holds. Cheers ; )

1-2 trucks with gravel on it and tamping - works without any problems
we did it that way too.

It can also be recycled gravel. For the later layer, it is better to use natural gravel
