Property is tempting, especially when a new build is offered so cheaply. But BE CAREFUL!!! No one is giving away money, and if you calculate that you can manage well with your money monthly, the situation is different when you own property.
I would basically advise against building if the income is rather tight and no equity is available. There are so many things that come up that you didn’t expect at the beginning.
You cannot assume that the house will stand like a dream house with this offer – rather quite the opposite.
Don’t make yourselves unhappy! If you manage well with your money, then set something aside. And absolutely do not take out a separate loan to finance the equity! And if your son is possibly in [Kindergarten], your girlfriend works a little again and thus also has an income, and you have set aside some money by then, then you reconsider. Just please don't fall for such offers!
