There are also some tablets with PoE (e.g. Allnet) if that should be of interest.

I have already read about batteries swelling in connection with wall mounting and permanent power supply. The battery should therefore definitely be removable.

yes... however, I have no experience with them so far. I have only searched for tablets with PoE in connection with a video intercom system. For me, it is easier to bring LAN to the location instead of power.

So, for us it's the same, the tablet isn't used that often. That's why I didn't even see the point in hanging a 400 EUR device on a 250 EUR holder. That's why I got a Samsung tablet for 130 EUR on Black Friday. For me, as I said, it's permanently connected to an in-wall power supply. I think I read back then that the power supply is designed for that and has some kind of charging management. But I can't say that for sure. In any case, it is intended for continuous operation and was described that way on purpose. Now it's been hanging there for about 1.5 years and works flawlessly. If the tablet dies after 5 years, then so be it, that's why I chose an inexpensive option. It serves its purpose just like any more expensive tablet.

Do you still have the exact designation of the power supply?
