Sweden house - experiences wanted

FYI. We can do everything except Standard German.

Seriously. The special thing about Swedish houses from Sweden is the wood. The softwood is much harder than here because it grows much slower. Because of the long winters and short summers.

I am already in talks, but construction times (plan to move-in) of 10-16 months... where is the advantage of a prefab house there.

Presumably, it will not be faster with others either. They are not just standing around waiting for your order. The capacity utilization is probably very good at the moment, so waiting times arise. And, a prefab house also has to be built... in the assembly hall and then transported to the construction site. The construction time looks shorter there because many things have already been built in the assembly hall.

Delivery times are the same no matter who you build with. You are building in a boom time. Waiting times are normal and the prices are steep. I don't believe that the Swedes are overall that much cheaper.

I built an Eksjöhus with GfG Schwedenhäuser and am very satisfied. The gutter and downspout are, by the way, made of metal. I hadn't considered that and it was included in the price (lucky, I wouldn't have wanted PVC). The construction phase went smoothly.
