Suspended ceiling: advantages, disadvantages, and costs

Why is the electrician more expensive? Then more runs over the floors and/or in the ceiling.

I had assumed that it is more work or that it is easier for the electrician with a suspended ceiling. Also, the spot shapes are expensive and blind conduits also have to go into the concrete ceiling...

The conduit is needed anyway. Well, the ones for concrete are a bit more expensive. But that’s not a big amount. From the electrician’s point of view, the spot is the same. The installation cup is the issue. With a suspended ceiling there is simply a cutout and the spot is clipped in using spring clips.
