I have now also found Elastopave while browsing the internet, which is apparently a kind of stone carpet for outdoor areas. However, I fear that 1. it is a total chemical sludge that you pour into your driveway, and 2. (if it is not chemical sludge) still too unknown or ridiculously expensive, or you can hardly find a specialist company that processes something like this outside of metropolitan areas.

This is basically the bound surface I mentioned, only that PU is used as a binder here. Otherwise, it is a compacted mixture of grit/gravel.

I have now written to the wholesalers to ask if they can recommend suitable garden landscapers for our area who are familiar with this.

Google Escofet Redes. But I don't know how much they cost.

I'll join in with a question here:

How deep should the driveway/parking space be excavated? Or are different excavation depths required for different surfaces? Currently, I'm considering a gravel option (because of infiltration). Maybe later with the option of permeable paving.

The question would also apply to the terrace. What excavation depth is appropriate there?

Thanks!

Elastopave is the same as that rubber layer on the hard court.
