Supporting costs with L-shaped stones

There are three types of permanent support:
1) Plant rings, filled with soil, planted. Inexpensive, functional, also visually acceptable when overgrown.
2) L stones. I find those things ugly, always looks like a BAB construction site.
3) Frisian wall made of natural granite or basalt. Pretty and unfortunately expensive.

According to the surveyor's plan, the height difference between the highest corner of the house and the spot where the stones would be used is approximately 65cm. However, we will probably remove some soil at the upper spot, meaning the house will be set a bit lower, so the difference will be less... so the 75cm should actually be covered by leveling, etc. But if it's a bit more, that wouldn't be a problem either.

The latter naturally looks nice, but in our case is probably not feasible (if it is statically possible, it would certainly be too expensive).
