Hello forum,
we are planning the utility connections. Our property is a rear plot with about 30m access path that belongs to us. We are aware of the higher costs resulting from this. Upon request, we were informed that the sewage and drinking water pipes end after about 1m on the property in a shaft. The remaining meters are up to us. Does anyone have experience with this? Can this be done in EL or who should be commissioned for this?
We would be very grateful for a few tips.

Best regards
Jeannette

We first laid the pipes and lines for the supply up to a transfer point at the edge of the property, then the utilities came and connected them. With some effort, all could be laid in such a way that the street only had to be torn up once,

Did you get the pipes yourselves and lay them, or did you have it done?

We have commissioned the civil engineer with the earthworks and concrete works. Doing it ourselves on our property was too complex and tool-intensive for us, with over 10m height difference up to the handover point and partly soil class 7.

It is not that bad for us, but we will have the professionals do it. Thank you very much for now

We did that ourselves at least for the wastewater many years ago. We also had about 35 m. However, the soil here is unproblematic, Märkischer Sand. It is a question of money and fitness. Wastewater must be laid quite deep, depending on where the transfer to the main pipe is. For us about 1.30 m deep. There are also mini excavators to rent.
