I can say from personal experience that a photovoltaic system has a positive effect on summer temperatures. (We have a timber-framed house based on kfw60 from 2009 with roof insulation consisting of wood fiber insulation boards, and insulated inside with mineral wool). Since we sleep directly under the roof, we have perceived the photovoltaic system positively in terms of summer heat protection. On our house, the south roof is completely covered with photovoltaic panels and the east roof partially. If photovoltaic is an option, it certainly brings a few degrees less in summer :-) and also electricity..
