Submit a building application before the land is paid for?

Hello everyone!

Our builder is currently putting together the building application. I think it will be finished and signed by us in one, at most two weeks.

So far so good, now we come to our "problem" or rather our question.

We have the appointment with the notary in exactly one week to sign our land contract. From that moment, we have 4 weeks to pay for the land.

Can we already submit or proceed with the building application without concern during this period? Or could there be problems because the land has not yet been paid for and practically belongs to us only on paper? Or could we even submit the building application before we had the notary appointment?

Originally, we planned to more or less use up the 4 weeks in order not to start the interest-free period of our KFW loan. This is only 6 months.

And the builder has contractually committed to start on 10.05, provided the building permit is there by 01.04... So every week counts...

Does anyone have experience with this?

In my opinion, you can submit the building application whenever you want. Even now.

For the building authority, ownership is not part of the review - but what contract progress between you and the construction company does this milestone trigger?

Check here currently in the thread from : it's about a construction contract, after the conclusion of which the property "fell through," and now a one-and-a-half-story house (because the new property does not allow for the city villa) is supposed to fit into an "old" contract and the corresponding financing.

We have concluded and signed a construction contract with a contractor. In this, he assures us to start on 10.05 if the permit is available on 01.04. The plot of land is being sold to us by the local municipality. I think there is a 97% chance that nothing will go wrong anymore....

I don’t understand what this has to do with the loan? I believe the [Bereitstellungsfreie Zeit] starts from the acceptance of the contract by [Kfw]. And I’m also not sure if you are allowed to pay for the property from the [Kfw Kredit (153)].
