No, that is wrong! Moving in and thus the registration certificate is a prerequisite for the application. Without the registration certificate, the application will not be processed.

Exactly. I asked the KFW bank about exactly this scenario out of personal interest.

From the preliminary check: "You do not submit your application in advance, but only after you have moved in. Then you have 3 months."

Registration certificate is correct, but the cutoff date is 31.12.2023.
