Here is perhaps the easiest solution to your question.

It is in the bathroom. Has lasted for 2 years and was bought on Amazon for around 16€, I believe. A film to be applied wet, which is then cut to size.
I think this is also what meant.

In the guest WC there is a normal window next to the front door, which I ordered in satinato version during the sampling, so completely frosted glass. It cost 100€. It could probably also have been done with the fixed element in the bathroom. But this way works as well and was significantly cheaper.

These films might serve as privacy screens, but they are then always there. And they cannot serve as even a small heat protection. As heat protection, of course, a system from the outside would be best suited. Second best are things from the inside.

We have that in the north as well. But it does not block heat. I would choose pleated blinds from top to bottom. You can then slide them individually - either down from the top or up from the bottom.. :)

There are pleated blinds where thin rails are glued to the glass. You can't see them afterwards, looks great.
