Hello
my climate cellar is finished.
Four weeks ago, a staircase with a tool shed underneath for garden equipment was built above it.
The entrance to the climate cellar is approved as a staircase. So straight down from the south. Height difference approx. 225 cm. The stairwell is 128 cm wide.
Now the formworkers were a bit enthusiastic and built more formwork than the plan specifies. The formwork of the stairs went up to 50 cm near the entrance and is at a height of 105 cm. (I hope I’m writing somewhat clearly). With 2 steps I can reach a max of 150 cm. That’s not enough.
Now I’m thinking of planning the entrance from the east. Go down 4 steps, a small landing, and then lay the rest of the stairs towards the north.
So I come from the east, have 4 steps that are 50 cm wide, then a landing about 40 cm deep and 50 cm wide. Then a right turn and the remaining steps are no problem.
Of course, the building authority will probably not be overjoyed with a possible approval of this. But I’m not so keen on dismantling.
Would the offered compromise be conceivable given the tight space?
