Hello,
we moved into our new house at the beginning of 2016. Now I will soon be on parental leave again and want to tackle the following "problem":
We wallpapered our staircase (1/2 turn) with a white non-woven wallpaper. This has unfortunately proven to be not very fortunate by now (3 children - 8, 2, and 5 months old). The wallpaper in this area is already marked by the children's hands. I have already brushed it once with latex binder... but by then it was partly too late and it doesn’t protect one hundred percent either.
Simply painting white is not possible because it is a non-woven wallpaper with a slight pattern. I also find it ugly to leave it as it is.
I have already considered sticking decorative foil over it or possibly even a photo wallpaper with a nice motif. But maybe you also have an idea how I can design it?
Attaching the wallpaper will of course be problematic because the staircase is not straight to get with a ladder to the right height... but maybe someone has a tip here as well? The worst are, of course, the 1.20 m above the stairs...
