stable new slatted frame in the box spring bed

Hey dear fans,

it has come to the point where I get into my bed anxiously so that not another slat breaks! :oops: .. We have a box spring bed with a relatively old slatted frame. I definitely have to have it replaced. Now I wanted to first ask you which aspects are advantageous in a slatted frame. An adjustable one or even an electric one? Has anyone ("more") experience that can help me? I urgently ask you! :confused:

Hello, I personally think electric slatted frames are the best because you can adjust them however you want and they are not as complicated as a normal one. It's best to buy one from a [Bettenlager], they usually know more about it. Ikea rather less :)

are there now bonus points for answers to your own questions or reactivating years-old threads..... if yes...... where do you get the trading cards, dephateras should know :D :cool:

I hope the question is serious? If yes, then I would recommend the electric one. The electric one is currently the most advanced slatted frame you can find. I myself also have an electric one and can say that the many different adjustments are very comfortable. Above all, you don't have to get out of bed to do it. The manually adjustable ones are not really my thing... after a while they always get stuck... over time that gets annoying. So if you really have to decide on something, then I recommend an electric slatted frame. I didn't really find anything suitable at Ikea. As I said, I hope you are really looking for something, otherwise I have made an effort for you in vain. Get in touch when you have something! Regards
