Hello everyone,

I was able to take a look at our heating plan on the construction site. Next week, the sub-subcontractor will come to install the underfloor heating.

Now to the question:
Do you see any major mistakes here, or just things that could be spontaneously clarified with the craftsmen?
Generally, I don’t really have a say in the underfloor heating and was not involved in the planning accordingly. However, I hope to be able to agree on one or two small things with the craftsmen on site.

So far, I would only try to persuade them to lay the underfloor heating also under the bathtub (acrylic on screed / showers are in the screed). Or is it a bad idea to tweak something on the fly because it messes everything up?

Any other tips? Should I try to figure something out regarding the distances?

Many thanks and regards

KingJulien

Why didn't you have anything to say about that?
Property developer purchase?
What supply temperature was the heating system planned for?

Otherwise, there are clear differences in the heating circuit lengths; additional heating is already required for the bathroom in the plan.

Due to the installation distances, I suspect a gas boiler... If for whatever reason a heat pump is ever supposed to heat, it will be difficult to achieve low flow temperatures because of the installation distances.

Why such large installation distances? Future-proof would be 10cm or 5/7.5 cm for the bathrooms ==> suitable for heat pumps. Design for living areas at only 20 degrees. That would be too low for me. For comparison: I currently have 15 circuits for my KFW 55 apartment with 120 sqm. Installation distances between 7.5 and 10 cm. That means nearly 1,500m of underfloor heating pipe – you have 900m.

People... don't stress me out. This is for [Wärmepumpe]! No time right now, I will respond in more detail later.

Large prefabricated house manufacturer. When asked about the heating design, they just said "according to DIN such and such."
I feel they hardly let themselves be influenced technically. Too strange if someone shows interest there ;)

No idea... is that stated in the DIN?

Probably DIN...

So, underfloor heating under the bathtub: try it?

Could one try to slightly reduce the distances overall so that the ratio is more or less maintained? Although honestly, I don't have much hope there now. The planning is as mentioned, finished; it would only go through the craftsmen now.

Probably too cool for me as well. The electricity consumption probably won't be very great for us.
Although I hope to be able to distribute quite a bit of heat in the house with the (storage) wood stove.
