Splash guard over the countertop

Works great and is slightly glossy at first. Glass splash guard behind the stove and the rest coated with elephant skin.

There is also matte latex paint. Behind the sink we initially had a (colored) regular coating, but that didn’t last long. Repainted with latex (also colored, matte), that works wonderfully. On the stove on the (semi-deep) island there is nothing, no splatter problem has occurred so far.
