Hello everyone,

I have a quick question because I can't reach my responsible chimney sweep.

We are planning an indoor stove, next to it there should be a double wall where wood is to be stacked. The house has a bay window. In the corner of the bay window/house wall the chimney should still extend upwards.

Now I have a question:
Regarding walls/flammable parts, I believe the distance must be 30cm, right, that would be point 2 in the drawing.
But is there also a regulation for the distance under point 1? There is also a rainwater pipe running along the wall.
That means the minimum distance that the exterior chimney must have to the wall?

The drawing is attached.

Thank you.

Then I would wait until he is available again, after all the BSM has a certain "supremacy," completely independent of what is posted here :-)

best regards

Distance to combustible parts = 1m
to non-combustible parts ~20 to ~30cm

ps.. everything else is told to you by your [Bausparvertrag].. because as already said above, it is the one who decides what you --must-- have
