The tongue and groove elements absorb sound compared to the smooth fleece.

In any case, we currently have no acoustic problems with it.

I find the acoustic ceiling of the H.C ugly that is not coming into the house.

That's the kind of thing I mean.
This is our current apartment.

But you really have to think about the aesthetics. I don’t think many people imagine something like that for a new building. In purchased existing buildings, the first step in renovation is to rip out the paneling ...

I actually find such paneling quite nice, if it is solid wood. Acoustically, however, paneling should not have any advantages compared to cladding. Then the profile wood would have to be perforated or relatively thick and then slotted. In plant engineering, we use wall coverings made of expanded metal cassettes filled with mineral wool. That helps a lot if done correctly, but demands aesthetic masochism in the living room.

My current apartment is also a new build
Yes, tastes are different.

In our case, the ceiling should be opaque white.

Who can I contact regarding
the topic of acoustics..... open ceiling....?

I rarely read about the construction method open up to the ridge, and my architect is not really sharp on this question either.

Thanks to you

Symmetry isn’t everything – blaupuma spares no effort in banalizing his building architecturally. Personally, when I think of "Scandinavian" I don’t primarily think of crispbread either, but tastes are different

Generally, you can find exemplary models of successful acoustic design that "does not bother" mainly in Chinese restaurants.
