Sound insulation of geothermal heat pump in the technical room

I would like to reduce the humming of our ground source heat pump in the technical room. This humming can be heard outside the technical room.

1) Should I better insulate the ground source heat pump itself or the walls in the technical room?

2) Depending on the approach, which materials are suitable for sound insulation? I was thinking of Basotect foam?

What does the heat pump run on?

The small 4 feet of the ground source heat pump stand directly on the floor tiles.
