Hello everyone,

we are in the middle of the construction phase (the ground floor is standing and we are waiting for the ceiling slab).
Our house will have a simple gable roof with E-SE or W-NW orientation with 2 dormers, so there is relatively little space for a photovoltaic system on the roof (besides, solar thermal will also be installed there). Our garage is north of the house, so the sun would be blocked by the house.

I have recently come across solar terrace roofs and would be happy if someone here has experience and can share both positive and negative experiences:
Our terrace faces NW and would therefore be without direct sunlight until noon.
The theoretical maximum area would be about 11m x 3.5m.

If you need any further information, I will gladly provide it...

A solar terrace roof is actually not possible as a renewable energy act subsidized system. You should be aware of this risk.

Oh really? Do you have a bookmark for that - it should be in the Renewable Energy Act, right?

That would of course be pretty bitter, especially since everything beyond the usual modules (+mounting structures) is rather rare and accordingly more expensive, so the return looks bad anyway.

Sorry, unfortunately I'm not well versed in this: what disadvantage does this bring me? I only came across this idea today, as I now want to request the first offers

Unfortunately not – the sanitary/heating installation is already planned and commissioned.

Please ask Google with the words: Solarterrassendach Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz, then ignore all advertising and take the first result.

Alternatively:
§ 32 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz 2012: "For electricity from installations for generating electricity from solar radiation energy, the remuneration amounts to [...], if the installation is attached to, on or at a building or another structural installation and the building or the other structural installation was primarily constructed for purposes other than the generation of electricity from solar radiation energy [...]."

§ 94 Baugesetzbuch: "(1) The essential parts of a property include the items permanently connected to the land, especially buildings, as well as the products of the property, as long as they are connected to the land. (2) The essential parts of a building include the items inserted for the construction of the building."

And the disadvantage is that there is no guaranteed 12 ct feed-in tariff. Instead, only what the market provides, which can be little to nothing or even negative.
