Hello, I happened to see that a new office building in our neighborhood is getting [Solaraußenputz].

Does anyone know about this? Is it also for individual use or are the costs and benefits disproportionate?

Unfortunately, I always drive past the construction site in the morning and evening when it is unoccupied.

Thanks,
Hilaria

Hello,

As far as I know, this is a plaster that works with very fine "ceramic hollow spheres" = roughly comparable to the system of expanded clay. Undercoat, fine plaster, and paint are coordinated, so all from one supplier. I seem to remember that this system has been on the market for 3 years and is only distributed by a single supplier in the eastern part of the country – the patent holder.

I have to owe you the price; however, I assume that it moves in the range of about plus 30-40% of the costs (patents, if exclusively distributed by one supplier, usually have their price) for a "normal" fine plaster and is therefore so far only found in office buildings. I'm not even sure that this plaster plays a role in the energy calculation – but €uro should be able to answer that.

Kind regards

Thank you for the quick response, so when I enter Solarputz in Aunt Google, I end up with result No. 1 being the Solarputz used in my neighborhood. This comes directly from our region or also from my old homeland, I cannot tell who holds the patent. Unfortunately, there is nothing there about the application, whether only for large buildings and / or individual construction. Regards Hilaria

hello construction expert, I have now found that the additional costs for a single-family house amount to around 800 euros. Can you say what the exterior plaster of a single-family house generally costs, or how much that is expressed in percent?

But what is that supposed to achieve? At a thickness of only a few millimeters, it will never insulate the house!

Hello,

Mhm ... €800.00 in additional costs should then - in my opinion - only be charged for the final coat? Otherwise, it would indeed be cheaper than a plaster with lotus effect and thus definitely cheaper than I expected.

No, the costs cannot be easily specified in a generally valid way, because every house has different dimensions, possibly offsets, etc.; regional differences as well as possible mixed calculations must also be taken into account.

You get the best sense of proportionality if you ask your provider about the surcharge for a complete solar plaster.

Kind regards
