However, there are quite a few reports & reviews on this topic, and the note in the manufacturer's manual does not come from nowhere.

Normally yes, it’s just the nature of the thing… Components that sometimes produce quite a bit of heat are squeezed into a box and then almost always sealed all around. It gets cozy. But yes, in this normal case it is uncritical. The components simply age faster and then have to be replaced more often than, for example, an actuator in the control cabinet.

The adjusters have to live off something. If they only sold a few actuators per household, which wouldn’t need to be replaced every few years, they would be relatively quickly off the market or we would be out of the consumer sector again but then the prices would also be accordingly.

If you want to invest a bit more money, you can also use the system from Digitalstrom. Everything is modulated via existing power cables.

Yes, of course, I was briefly mistaken. I have also gotten those. I believe the 2.0 ones are no longer available.

Absolutely not... of all the mentioned solutions, that is by far the most unreliable. It runs just as well as LAN over power lines.

With all due respect, that is nonsense. I have the system myself and the control works 100%.
