So if it is purely a shower bath, that might work, but only if the upper 50cm are glazed with glass and there is ventilation. I don’t want the shower steam in the bedroom.
But if there is also a toilet in it, then it can only work as a single bedroom. But since you mention "we" and "parent area".. Really not, I neither want to hear and smell what is going on there nor want to be heard or smelled.
We once stayed in a hotel room with such a glass box. Horrible.
