We have a 100-year-old house and the same problems. But in the new building, I would no longer have expected that. In the meantime, we have plastered some rooms ourselves, and unfortunately we still have such problems in some places, but we are not professionals unlike the people who plastered here. At the doors, I recommend decorative moldings, there are quarter-rounds or whatever you like, in white, that looks stylish and you no longer see the gaps.

Can you tell me exactly what you mean by that and where one can buy it? Thanks!

Enter "Viertelstab weiß" at Obi! We attached them with simple assembly adhesive, you just have to cut the corners at a mitre. It's not difficult.

To highlight this point again: Have you already tried to remove the tape without any residue? On our oiled oak floor, it was clearly stated in large letters in several places that not even painter's tape may be applied, as shadows might remain visible. The stuff your craftsman glued here ... well ... that’s going to be interesting. I would urgently check it!

They are tiles, so everything is very relaxed.
