: The house has not been inhabited so far. The heating has been in operation from the beginning - but is only turned on during the cold season.


: That was also my first thought. If the majority here would now write that the (apparently) dry floors and walls cannot be any indication of a successful renovation at that time, I would probably distance myself from the property.

According to the current status, I would want to concretize the project and conduct preliminary measurements in the next step.

I have an acquaintance who would provide me with measuring devices through his work.
Maybe you could briefly give an assessment whether measurements with these would make sense:
- Moisture logger -> for multi-week recording of room humidity (but only for indoor air, not material moisture)
- Thermal imaging camera -> possibly exclude pipe bursts due to frost damage???
