Hello everyone,
our energy consultant is apparently on vacation and we don't want to lose time – but unfortunately, I couldn't find anything definitive about this here in the forum either.
We are currently renovating a house (see here: ) and want to carry out the following work in this context:
- Individual measures on the building envelope: insulation of the top floor ceiling (including knee wall areas) and basement ceiling, new windows
- Systems for heat generation (heating technology): replace old gas floor heating with heat pump, including new pipes, radiators, electrical meter cabinet, etc. etc.
For both measures, the following sentence can be found in the funding guidelines:
"The eligible expenses for energy renovation measures of residential buildings are capped at 60,000 euros per residential unit and calendar year, and 600,000 euros per building in total."
Question: does this mean that in 2023 we can only submit a total of 60,000 euros of eligible expenses to BAFA, or 60,000 euros per "category", i.e., both for the building envelope and heating technology? Since the heating technology is subsidized significantly higher (35% vs 20% (we submitted the application for the building envelope on 14.8.)) and including everything will likely exceed 60,000 euros, in the first case the application for the building envelope would be obsolete.
If both are possible, do you have a (non-link) reference where I can find a written statement about this?
