Hello everyone! We are planning a walk-in shower in a corner, as shown in the picture. The partition wall to the bathtub is currently planned to be 75cm long. We are unsure whether 75cm is enough to prevent water from splashing out of the shower. The lower wall of 45cm also seems too short to us, as water might splash out there as well. The shower fitting is centered on the upper wall. We are now looking for a solution to close off the shower, for example by extending a wall, adding doors, fixed glass elements, etc. Do you have any suggestions? Furthermore, we have not yet agreed on how high the partition wall to the bathtub should be, whether to place a glass panel on a 120cm high wall or to extend the wall all the way up. Many thanks for your answers. Viola and Stefan

75cm are not enough. I would use 2 small pivot doors that allow access around the corner and close at right angles to each other with a sealing lip.

I often wonder why so many people use glass panels as shower enclosures. I am not one of those who get very bothered by a few spots, but the cleaning involved with glass walls annoys me already in theory.

You get more light through glass than through most other materials. Glass as a partition can help create a feeling of spaciousness.

yes, this decision for light and cleaning is what surprises me
For me, "saving work" clearly outweighs many other criteria in most cases.

But:
People are different - and that’s a good thing

My shower is bordered with granite slabs (because it is dark inside, I have provided extra lighting)

You can also simply replace the pane instead of cleaning if not enough light comes through anymore.
