I clearly read there 3% discount on the 70% down payment and no discount on the remaining payment. It can still be interpreted that the discount on the down payment lapses if the remaining payment is not made immediately.

I rather read that the discount applies to both if paid immediately upon due date.

It would also be unusual to have two payment terms for one order.

But nothing happens anyway. In case of doubt, there will just be a supplementary demand.

Whereas that assumes that you have also made all partial payments within the discount period.

If my interpretation is also that of the invoice issuer, immediate payment of the remaining balance is a condition for the discount on the down payment. Then this discount deduction would be void if a part of the claim is not settled with the remaining payment.
