Sewer connection fee (wastewater only) surprisingly high

Companies are happy to give the 5000€, but it is window dressing to make the final price look better

Water alone already costs 4000€ with us. About 40% of the costs are for the house connection, 60% are construction cost subsidies. Electricity for a residential unit without construction cost subsidy costs 1400€ as a new connection and about 2200€ with a construction power connection. The price lists for electricity connections are often found online. Wastewater is by far the most expensive, as it involves serious civil engineering and material use. Wastewater is included in the land price with us, fortunately. But the individual inspection shafts etc. also cost a few thousand (but that is then counted under shell construction or earthworks, depending).
