Usually it is the quantity that ruins too much. A single-family house of normal size is equipped with lighting effects like in a retail store. See parallel thread: "Lighting design..."

recently gave a tip here to go to the specialty store you trust and also buy the lamps there. They are happy to take over the planning as well.

Exactly for this reason, Katdreas and I are now looking for a professional so that this does not happen.

I don’t know anyone who has a "specialty store they trust" in terms of lighting before they have bought/built a house. And even if you know a good lamp salesman, that doesn’t automatically mean he is a good planner. A great bricklayer is also not automatically a top architect (even if the comparison is far-fetched).

You don't, that may be your personal problem, but maybe the OP @Katreas does. None of us are 20 anymore, so we know what's based in our town. I know an electrical specialty store in our town (I've only ever bought a lamp once in my life, yeah ;) ), in the next larger city I know some too, from the village also knows one... and maybe the OP knows one. P.s. I just noticed: the thread is already a bit older, I didn't realize that :(

My husband found someone through colleagues, I got a tip through the forum, and we spoke with specialty stores. The problem is also that a great lighting design can only be implemented with the appropriate lamps, and you can really spend a lot of money there.

But you don't have to. We planned the lighting inside and around the house with our house and Hofeli and found good and affordable lamps and spots for it, of course, it's a bit more expensive than everything through Ikea, but far from [Lichthaus am Schloss]. He installed everything and stands by his work. A cheer for the German electrician craft, smile.

Then you were lucky with your electrician that he has an eye for it and the appropriate expertise. Especially the calculation of the luminous flux in the individual rooms and an even illumination of the rooms is important to me.
