Hello everyone,
we would like to buy a semi-detached house, fully basement, ground floor, upper floor, converted attic studio. The developer plans a decentralized residential ventilation system with heat recovery, a total of 4 units, which, however, will only be installed on the ground floor and upper floor. The attic studio is planned with a shower bathroom and we would also like to set up our bedroom there.
Upon inquiry, of course, a central HRV could also be installed. However, we were told that this would cost about €13,000 extra. That seems a bit exaggerated to me, since the approximately €4,500 for the decentralized solution is not deducted here, but actually total costs of €17,500 would arise.
What do you think? Do you have any experiences on how to convince developers to use a central HRV that does not exceed the budget?
Thanks already for your feedback!
