Seeking advice for decision-making

Hello dear forum community,

I have the opportunity to take over the old miners' house (approx. 90 years old, semi-detached house) in Essen from my grandma. If I were to do this, a lot would have to be renovated in the house and an extension would have to be built, as the current living space is not sufficient.

I need advice from an "expert" who can answer the following questions during an on-site appointment so that I can decide whether to take over the house or rather have it sold.

1. What sale price can be expected if the house were sold?

2. Renovation + extension or demolition (if that is even possible with a semi-detached house) and new construction.

3. Regarding point 2, a rough cost estimate would of course be very helpful.

Who can I contact for such advice? Do architects or some kind of appraisers do this? How do I find such an "expert"?

And does anyone maybe know roughly how much such advice will cost?

Feed Aunt Google with "independent experts" or "Association of Experts" and you will get help ;) The costs depend on the scope of the agreed service; you have to negotiate with the expert you trust.
