Hello everyone!

Have you decided on a security key for the front door or side entrance door? Or did you take a regular standard key?

Well, safety keys. That is a must! I think the insurance also requires that. I have a keyed alike system, i.e., front door, garden door, garage, side entrance secured with one key and with a Keycard.

Nope. In case of key loss, the cylinders can be replaced immediately for peanuts. The insurance does not require this at all.

Normal keys. Winkhaus von Rosenberg from Lübeck. No keycards. All doors the same. I'm not going crazy and not becoming a slave to locking systems.

You can take whatever you want, you just have to comply with the insurance requirements. So no protruding lock or similar - that would be negligent. Otherwise, free choice.

We have now received the offer for a system with 3 locks that close with the same key including security keys from KABA for an additional cost of 250€.

I think that is fair.
