Screw on the stair gate without drilling into the stair railing

I have been using 3 Roba for 2 years and am quite satisfied. I think the parts will last another 1.5 years, then we won’t need them anymore.

As luck would have it, I have both in use:

I found them very impractical at friends' places because I always pulled them out when opening. We have had Geuther for 3 years and it is perfect to operate with one hand.

But that is not the Geuther swinging stair gate.
With yours, there remains a bottom trip strip when opening, right?

It is the "easy lock" if you want it completely without drilling it only works with a strip at the bottom, but that doesn't bother because it hangs in the step... at the bottom is the roba which is then drilled into the wall
