Hello everyone, I heard from an acquaintance that with Schwörerhaus there is always a "seam" visible between two floors. Can anyone confirm this? If yes, where does it come from?

Some prefabricated houses are already machine-plastered in the factory. That means wherever the house is assembled, a joint remains. This joint is either plastered and painted on-site or sealed with a filler - [Kompriband].

Yes, I can confirm with the seam. My parents have a Schwörer house and exactly this "overlap". I don't really understand the purpose behind it. When asked, Schwörer house said it was about the tightness regarding running water. I can't fully comprehend that argument.

Yes, every Schwörer house has the seam, it depends on the plastering done at the factory. It just reduces the construction time on site.

There are 4-5 different variants of how one wants the seam to look. We chose the edge, my sister chose the clinker bricks 20 years ago. And I think the plaster looks visually flatter in raking light than that of the neighbors.

PS Schwörer house still has a few peculiarities that extremely reduce the construction time. For example, screed including underfloor heating delivered as a prefabricated part. So no screed drying.

If you want it fast, you get it fast. We have a solid house and cracks were repaired. Everything was made worse. In 15 years new plaster and peace.
